The Road to Eldorado: Tzekel-kan

So I've recently been on a Disney craze, watching all the old school movies of my childhood. Its been wonderful seeing all the old characters that made up such a huge part of my life. And then I came across this: The Road to Eldorado. Admittingly, I thought this movie was Disney until recently when I watched it again, when I discovered that it is in fact Dreamworks (Nothing against them, they are awesome, but when I was a kid every animated film was Disney to me, lol)

Anyway, I feel in love with the movie once again. What can I say? I have good taste And really like the villian in this movie. The cool stone jaguar spell thing, his name, general character design, awesome facial expressions and overall dramaticness are just some of the reasons. So I decided to try draw him and one sketch quickly turned into a page full. So here you go. Hope you like. Some of the sketches dont do Tzekel-kan justice but whatever.

Hopefully I will have some more time on my hands to draw some of my other favourite animated characters
